Founded in 2003 by Peter Walker and Jim Larson, Phoenix Steel Erectors has grown to be a leader in the steel erection industry.  What separates PSE from our competition is our commitment to being the premier steel erector in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Although we are capable of erecting any structure, we specialize in unusual and complex projects.  Every project receives the same level of attention regardless of it’s size.  Our number one goal is to provide our customers with unmatched safety, production, and customer service.  The staff at Phoenix has taken our big erector experience and created a company that gives you all the industry leading technology with small business efficiency.

Paul Kollman

Principal

Paul Joined Phoenix Steel in February 2013.  Mr. Kollman brings over ten (10) years management experience working for large steel erectors who focus on high profile projects.  In addition to sales and business developement responsibility, Mr. Kollman handles most of the estimating and contract administration work for Phoenix Steel.

Tony Adams

Principal

Tony has been with Phoenix Steel since their founding in 2003.  Mr. Adams started in the field as a foremen, served as our operations manager, and is currently responsible for all field operations.  His hard work and dedication to the company have helped PSE grow, improve quality, and efficiency.

Kendall Ray

Director Pre-Construction

Kendall joined Phoenix Steel in September 2017.  Mr. Ray has over twenty (20) years of experience in the structural steel industry working for fabricators serving the Mid-Atlantic States.  He will be responsible for front end project coordination with customers in addition to sales and estimating responsibilities.

Terri Gaither

Office Manager

Terri joined Phoenix Steel in September 2010.  Mrs. Gaither brings a wealth of experience managing offices in the construction industry.  She is responsible for contract billings, risk management/insurance, certified payroll compliance, human resources, 401K plan management, and finance.  Terri also assists Mr. Kollman in contract administration.

Jana Jenkins

Admin/Accounting Assistant

Jana joined Phoenix Steel in May of 2014.  Mrs. Jenkins has a background in accounting and is responsbile for book keeping and payroll functions.  She also assists in purchasing, IT administration, FTP site maintenance, and drawing inventory, as well as, assisting Mr. Adams in project management and customer relations.

Pete Walker

Owner

Former President of PSE retired at the end of 2014.  Although Mr. Walker is not involved in the day to day opertions of the company, he is on the PSE Board of Directors and is part of our management commitee.
